New IEA Report About a Longitudinal Study: ICILS Teacher Panel. Changes in Digital Learning During a Pandemic

ICILS Teacher Panel

The International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) gathers data and provides information about computer literacy, information literacy, and computational thinking of students in the eighth grade. The ICILS Teacher Panel is a new, additional longitudinal study which was developed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The objective of the additional study is to analyze the transition to more technology-based learning during the pandemic and to scrutinize why some teachers and schools have been more successful in using computers and technology for learning than others. The questionnaires from the 2018 main study were used to survey the same teachers, principals, and ICT coordinators from Denmark, Finland, and Uruguay during 2020-2021, enabling the longitudinal study design.
