The results for TALIS Starting Strong 2024 are available on the ILSA Gateway. They include detailed findings from the survey of early childhood education and care (ECEC) staff and leaders across 17 countries and subnational entities. The findings provide insights into working practices, job satisfaction and stress, professional development, as well as challenges and the organization of the ECEC sector.

The additional thematic pages for TALIS 2024 are now accessible on the ILSA Gateway. They include detailed results from both TALIS core survey and TALIS Teacher Knowledge Survey (TKS). In TALIS 2024 core, more than 280,000 educators from 55 education systems shared insights into their initial education and professional development, teaching and assessment practices, use of artificial intelligence and many other aspects. The TALIS TKS results provide the first internationally comparable data on teachers' general pedagogical knowledge, based on responses from more than 20,000 lower secondary teachers across eight education systems.

New OECD Report in TALIS series: Teachers Getting the Best out of Their Students. From Primary to Upper Secondary Education

This report presents results from TALIS 2018 participants who administered the optional primary education survey (15 out of 48 countries and economies) and/or the upper secondary education survey (11 out of 48 countries and economies). Its main goal is to understand if there are any similarities and differences between the dimensions of professionalism and educational challenges found in primary and upper secondary education compared to those found in lower secondary education.

TALIS 2018: Valuing Teachers and School Leaders as Professionals

Rebecca Vukovic, in her article, argues that although almost 90% of teachers in OECD's TALIS 2018 study reported that they liked their profession, only a few reported that they think they were valued by the society. In this article, the author goes on to disseminate findings from the TALIS 2018 study to highlight teachers' views on different aspects of their profession.
